01How much fall does a flat roof carport need?
Enough to shed water away from the house rather than pond on the sheets. It is set when the kit is cut, based on the length of the span and the height you need to clear at the low end.
02Is a flat roof carport easier to build?
Yes, of the two profiles. There is no ridge to set out and the roof sheets all run the same way, so most of the work is bolting rather than measuring.
03Will a flat roof carport fit under my eaves?
Usually, and that is the main reason people choose it. Measure from the ground to the underside of the eave and send that number with your span and we will confirm before anything is cut.
04Can I have a flat roof on a freestanding carport?
Yes. Flat and gable are roof profiles; attached and freestanding is a separate choice about how it stands. You can have either roof on either.
05Is a skillion carport the same as a flat roof carport?
