01Is a gable patio worth the extra work?
If it is a space you will sit in through summer, the height and the airflow are the reasons people say yes. If it is a covered walkway between the door and the yard, a flat roof does the job with less setting out.
02Does the gable end stay open?
Usually, and that is what lets the heat out. It can be infilled if you want it closed, and that is a decision to make before the kit is cut rather than after.
03Will a gable patio match my roof?
It will sit better on a tiled or pitched home than a flat roof does. It does not have to match the pitch exactly, but closer looks better — send a photo with your measurements.
04How much deeper can a gable go?
Further than a flat roof before it starts darkening the rooms behind, because the height at the front is held by the peak. The span tables in the kit set the limit for your size.
