01Is a gable carport harder to build than a flat roof?
There is more to set out. The ridge has to be straight and the two falls have to match, so it is a longer job than a flat roof of the same span, though the work itself is the same bolting.
02Will a gable carport fit a caravan?
That is usually why people choose it. Measure the tallest thing you need to park, including aerials and air conditioners on a van roof, and send that with your span so the height can be set.
03Does the gable end stay open?
Usually, which is what lets heat out through the peak. It can be infilled if you want it closed in, and that is worth deciding before the kit is cut rather than after.
04Does a gable carport have to match my house roof pitch?
