DIY Patios Perth

Privacy policy

DIY Patios Perth sells patio and carport kits. The only personal information we ever hold is what you send us when you ask for a price, and this page says plainly what happens to it.

What we collect

Only what you type into a quote request: your name, email address, phone number, your suburb, which kit you are after, the span you want covered and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing else, and there is no account to create.

You can send a photograph of the spot by email if you want to. That is your choice and it is not asked for by the form.

Our web host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. We do not use those for anything and we do not combine them with your enquiry.

What we do with it

We use it to work out what your kit costs and to reply to you. That is the whole purpose.

Your enquiry is sent to us as an email and it is not added to a database, a CRM or a mailing list. We do not send marketing. If you hear from us it is because you asked us something.

Who else sees it

Mailgun, which is the service that delivers the email carrying your enquiry to us. They handle it in transit; they are not given it for their own use.

The Patio Factory, if quoting your kit needs it. They manufacture the kits and are the only other party your details are ever passed to.

Nobody else. We do not sell, rent or trade enquiry details, and we do not share them for advertising.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking scripts. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries sit in our email for as long as the job is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to it. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Seeing or deleting what we hold

Email us and ask. We will tell you what we have about you, correct anything wrong, or delete it. There is no charge and you do not need a reason.

Security, honestly stated

Enquiries travel over an encrypted connection and the email accounts holding them are password protected. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than promise something nobody can guarantee.

Complaints

Tell us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are not satisfied, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes privacy complaints at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle enquiries changes, this page changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions; what is here is what applies.
